Amazing place shame we live in York as it would be on favourite eating place Paul13 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. the only pub in the town and I'm glad as it's all you need. The locals are really friendly and love to chat and offer advice or tell you the history of the area. One night we also had a old guy burst into song singing Welsh hymns which was beautiful. Wide selection of beers and they sell pizzas and a pint for £10. it's a little hidden down the end of a road and it's recently been painted a cream colour so don't look for a blue building! I will definitely visit again if I was in the area. Michaela R11 April 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We came across this pub as we were staying nearby in Carmel. Went in for a celebratory pint after going up Snowdon! Really welcoming pub, we had a lovely afternoon playing pool and darts. We ended up coming back a couple days later to watch the footy. Locals were friendly and chatty. Ben who was running the place was very friendly and hospitable, and was kind to our 9 year old boy, too. We will definitely return to The Goat when we are in the area again! My two dogs were also made very welcome. Definitely a place worth a visit. Dave Owen26 December 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
