A Place To Eat - Traditional 'Pub Grub'

Sosban Fach can be found in the Yr Afr Pub, here in Penygroes , just 15 minutes drive from Caernarfon, 10 minutes from Dinas Dinlle.

Mother and daughter duo, serving traditional affordable homemade meals for the local community and beyond.

We’re proud to use only the freshest local ingredients, sourcing our meats from trusted local butchers and our produce from nearby suppliers.

Our head chef Pam is known across the area for her cooking –  quality, flavour and consistency.

Directions

Open Thursday to Saturday 5pm to 8.30pm. Eat in or takeaway. No need to book – dogs, children welcome, large casual dining.

Our customers can’t get enough of our homemade classics – hearty pies, rich and flavourful curries, and tender braised steak. Each dish is cooked with care, cooked with local ingredients and traditional recipes that keep people coming back for more.

All our burgers are served in a toasted brioche bun, accompanied by our homemade chips, coleslaw and garnish

Buttermilk Chicken Fillet

Mature Welsh cheddar cheese, crispy onions and sriracha mayo .

Sosban Fach Stack Burger

Beef Burger, hash brown, onion rings, bacon, mature Welsh cheddar cheese, fried onions and sauce of your choice.

Loaded Platters

Perfect for sharing or treating yourself – a mix of our favourite bites piled high with flavour!! Choose from loaded fried or Natchos, smothered in smoky BBQ sauce and crispy chicken, crispy belly pork, or veggie halloumi stake. Served with house sauces and all the trimmings.

Loaded Nachos Classic

Warm nachos served with salsa, cheese sauce, guacamole, sour cream, onions ,peppers and grated mozzarella.

Loaded Nachos – Chili con Carne

Nachos with bowl of homemade chili, and grated cheese.

Hosin Duck Loaded Fries

Smothered in hoisin sauce, shredded duck, spring onions, shredded cucumber and crispy onions.

Hunters Chicken Loaded Fries

Smothered in BBQ sauce chicken, bacon, melted cheese and crispy onions
